Where's Wally?

Where's Wally? is stupid.

"Where's Wally?" is the correct name of the popular British children's gamebook series known for no reason at all as "Where's Waldo?" in North America. In it you have to find some skinny white boy in a stripéd sweater in a collection of crowd scenes for no tangible reward whatsoever. Despite the fact that the "game" is really more of a thankless chore, if one is given ten unbroken seconds to look at the picture, the correct location of Wally (and in the later books, his affiliated persons and objects) becomes an undending obsession that can only be satiated by the climactic glimpse of the speccy retard.

Paramount were going to make a movie of Where's Wally?, but it was cancelled due to a change in management and also for being an incredibly retarded idea even by Hollywood standards. Although several years later it was announced that the same studio was going to adapt Monopoly and Battleship into big-budget movies, by which standards a "Where's Wally" film would be frankly a work of searing intellectual genius.
