Terrorism is stupid.

Terrorism is the act of doing something stupid like killing yourself with a bomb simply to kill other people along with you with the sole intent of making people scared there might be other people out there equally as stupid as you. Nevermind that the Japanese proved conclusively in World War II that suicide attacks are useless as a technique of war. These days, any group of people who are too stupid to make an economic success of themselves form a coalition and start blowing shit up. In a sense, it is logical (if we can't have it, we're gonna make sure you can't either) - but in another sense, it just makes it obvious that you're the idiot everyone always thought you were in the first place. Terrorism only works when the act of terrorism kills many thousands of people, as in the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City. It also works really well when you get weapons of mass destruction and wipe out an entire city, but it will only work well like that once, because shortly thereafter, the United States would most likely turn the Middle East into a glass parking lot.
