Rush Limbaugh is stupid.
Rush Limbaugh is a conservative radio talk show host, which means he's a complete hypocrite. When the Pillsbury Doughboy became irrelevant to the advertising industry sometime before 1975, his unemployment counselor suggested he answer a want ad calling for a janitor at an AM radio station in St Louis, MO. The Doughboy, upon arriving at the station, found the broadcast booth empty (the dj had to take a shit), and sat behind the mic. He then began to deride the liberal advertising industry for his fall from pastry-peddling grace, and vowed revenge. The actual dj, upon encountering the lumpy mass in the broadcast booth, shouted, "Hush, you limp-balled piece of pastry shit!" The doughboy then placed a chubby thumb and fore finger on his triple chin and thought, "I need a professional name. It should be something that will always remind me of this fateful day...hush limp-ball, let's see...Rush Limbaugh! That will be my new name!" Broadcast history was made.

Rush's hypocritical opinions
Gay marriage
Rush believes in the sanctity of marriage, and believes that gays, if allowed to marry under US law, would ruin that sanctity. This from a man who has been married three times, divorced three times, and in some circles is rumored to be gay himself.
Rush respects the military
Like so many other conservatives, Rush spends a good amount of time pontificating on his respect and admiration for the military. Also like many other conservatives, despite this respect, he could never be bothered to actually join the military himself.
Labor unions
Rush derides labor unions, though he is a member of one himself. He says this is, "Because in this business, I have to be."
Democracy
Rush, like his hero George W Bush, believes democracy is the best governing style for all peoples of the world. Even when the democratic process yields unsavory results such as Hamas taking power in Gaza, Rush will tell you that the process must surely have been tampered with, otherwise such a result would not have been possible.
