Although they claim they are a fresh Mexican grill, it's obvious their Mexicans have been frozen.

Rubio's is stupid.

Rubio's is a fast food Mexican restaurant that is run by people who speak a weird combination of Spanish and English.

Ordering

Rubio's menu, just like their employees, is in English and in Spanish. Let us look at an example of a conversation between a cashier (whom is inevitably brown) and the customer.

Customer: "Alright, I'll have a three fish taco combo."

Cashier: "Tres Feesh Taco?"

Customer: "Uh, yeah...three fish taco combo."

Cashier: "hokay, so that’s one tres fish taco combo, you like drink?"

Customer: "Uh, no thanks."

Cashier: "Ok, and what your name?"

Customer: "Tony."

Cashier: "Ok, so A-N-T-O-N-I-O."

Customer: "Wait a minute, I'm not hisp-"

Cashier: "SALSA IS ON YOUR RIGHT THANK YOU FOR ORDERING."

Note the irony, which is bolded for you.

Rubio's apparently serves alcohol, which is an invitation for every drunk and cocaine addict in town to come eat Mexican food and get drunk off their ass. They only serve Coronas, however, because that’s usually the only alcoholic beverage that the cashier can pronounce.
