Newbies are stupid.

A newbie (noob, n00b) is a person who is new to something, generally online somethings - like chatting, or gaming. People who are new to such things rarely realize that there are rules that govern their conduct, erroneously believing that since it's not IRL, you can act like a complete shithead and everyone will gladly choke down your behavior. Because of this, newbies frequently make mistakes that belie their newbie-dom, and they are quickly persecuted to within an inch of their online lives.
