Music is stupid

Let's clear a few things up here. Sound is just how your brain interprets waves moving through the air at different pressures. Music is arranging these pressures into patterns that sound pleasent to the human ear. I shouldn't need to explain any further why this whole concept is retarded, but for the slow peoples' sake I'll give it a shot.

Music Genres

Some people like to get in huge pointless fights arguing which music is good and which sucks. Some people claim that all music created on a banjo and sung by a cowboy is crap, while others claim that white people rapping about growing up in the hood is stupid. Nobody gives a shit, because all music is crap. Who cares how the vibrations reach your ear, whether it's from a banjo or a whiney white boy--It's all stupid.

iPods

The iPod has brought on a whole new level of stupid to music in general. Now instead of idiots buying CDs and being confined to bitching about their favorite bands in a record store to other music nerds, suddenly they were free to roam around with their obscenely large music collection. Now everybody could hear it leaking out from the stupid little white ear buds as they rode the bus, and were subjected to "HEY Listen to this great band!" from people you met once but couldn't remember their names. Plus now when you try to talk to a cute girl and she has an iPod the subject of music comes up and listening to her talk about N*Sync alerts you to the fact that she's a vapid cunt before you can even get drunk enough to bone her.

MTV

MTV stands for MUCHOS TELEVISIONS de VIDEOS and is from the great land of Mexico. Much like how eBay started off as a site to sell PEZ and grew into something larger, MTV started off as a place for lovers of Mariachi music to admire their favorite artists and grew into a world wide phenomenon. Nowadays all the teenagers watch this station to learn tips on dating, driving, and drug use. Contrary to the name, they no longer play any music on the station, unless it is a 5 second clip mixed in with random camera zooms during MTV Cribs.

"Artists"

People who make music are sometimes called artists by people with no education. In fact, most of the popular musicians are nothing without their team of mixers and producers. Justin Timberlake's "I'm bringing sexy back" could be sung by a robot and nobody would know the difference. In fact, I'm pretty sure it is. Yet these people have massive influence on the world culture. Jennifer Lopez made anorexic girls everywhere eat gallons of peanut butter a day to gain massive asses. Snoop Dogg introduced cannabis to the caucasian community. MC Hammer made parachute pants not just for jumping out of planes. TLC made wearing condoms cool, unfortunatly they were not educated on the proper use, and many new cases of AIDS were reported because people were having sex with condoms on their ears.
