The Qur'an is stupid.
The Qur'an was writen sometime before 1975 by a tribal Arab named Mohammed who claims an angel told him to write down what is now the main holy book of Islam. He was actually illiterate so he got several other Tusken Raiders to write it for him, on whatever material was available: pottery, the skin of dead martyrs and in the sand. Several hundred years later, Islamic scholars schlepped these writings together and gave us the text we all know and love today.
The Qur'an, depending on your cognitive skills, endorses:
- Repressing women
- Polygamy
- Beheading everyone who breaks the law.
- Killing your offspring if they screw up.
- Blowing yourself up because if you kill an infidel that cancels out the suicide.
- Killing or at least promoting hate against Jews and Christians because Muslims are the new "Holier-than-thou" group.
- Telling others that they're infringing on your religious rights by picking you out of a line at an airport based on your skin color and ethnicity, despite the fact you are actually carrying a bomb, therefore making them correct, and you a terrorist. However that works.
Because we live in a bleeding out the ass liberal society, we are supposed to tolerate them and not ostracize them from society. Besides, we're don't have the guts so we make fun of them on the internet.
The Qur'an was not originally meant to be taken as the true word of God. The Qu'ran, much like comic books in the West, was originally simply a source of goofy entertainment. What else is some goat herder going to do in the middle of the desert besides enjoy his goats and kill his neighbors. The goat herding origins of Muslims gave rise to their view of women in general. As the goat is covered head to hoof in glorious shit-covered fur so is the Islamic woman adorned in her traditional burqa. As the goat herder guides his shit-covered herd so does the ideal Muslim man treat as many woman like shit as possible while increasing his harem to match his bounty of goats.
The Qur'an was originally written to tap into this culture as a means of escapism entertainment, by talking of killing of infidels and sex with a lot of women. (Later copied by Hollywood) however it's readers started to have a deep fixation on it. So much so that a Qur'an cosplay convention was set up in Mecca Sometime before 1975. It was during this convention that the Qur'an stopped being grand entertainment and became a true religion. It is because of this never before spoken history of Islam that many Americans are now being to become suspicious of Anime Fans and fear they may rise up as the next throat cutting religion of the twenty first century.
