Flaming is stupid.
Flaming is the act of being exaggeratedly hostile on an Internet forum. Flaming is rampant in cyberspace because anonymity makes users feel unpunishable, and therefore free to mouth off in a manner inconsistent with rational human behavior, IE: there is no way IRL that flamers would dare say anything approaching what they post, because they know they would be beaten to within an inch of their lives.
Flaming is usually done in ALL CAPS, to maximize effectiveness.

Variations on Flaming
There are literally thousands of ways to flame creatively. Unfortunately, flamers are not the most creative people, and therefore flaming generally tends to fall into one of a very small range of categories. Flamers also tend to come from a very small range of domains - usually the easiest to use, an indication of how small their minds generally are.
