Azumanga Daioh is a japanimation adapted from a cartoon funny book about a group of high school girls, the most notable ones of the bunch being the enigmatic religious entity known as Osaka, and the token jailbait character known as Chiyo. The show follows the day-to-day antics of the said group of girls and their interactions with alcoholic, perverted, or Neo-Conservative teachers. The humour is considered "non-sequitor" but in reality it's just fucking retarded.
Azumanga Daioh enjoys the distinction of being one of those crappy Japanese cartoons that 30-year-old virgins never shut up about.
